2. Your Rights as Data Subject

You may exercise the following rights at any time under the above contact data of our Data Protection Officers:

  • Information about your data in our electronic files, their use and the intended duration of storing,
  • Correction of incorrect personal data,
  • Deletion of your data from our electronic files,
  • Limitations of data processing, when legal requirements do not yet permit deletion of your data,
  • Refusal of our processing your data and
  • Data transferability, when you have authorized data processing or signed a contract with us.

3. Objection Rights

If you have granted authorization, you may withdraw this at any time without giving a reason. The propriety of the processing performed based on authorization prior to the withdrawal is not affected. Legally authorized data remain unaffected by withdrawal of authorization.
You may file a complaint with the responsible supervisory office at any time. The responsible office for you depends on the state in which you reside, its (your?) work or the presumed injury. A list of supervisory offices (for non-public matters) and their addresses can be found under: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

4. Recording and Storing personal Data and their use

a) On visiting the Website
When our internet site is opened, the data transmitted by your browser are automatically recorded. This is absolutely necessary to enable the functionality of data exchange. These data are, among other things, your browser type, browser version, the operating system used, the URL, the computer hostname (IP-Address) and the time at which the server was contacted. Storage serves only internal system-related and statistical purposes. We cannot trace these data to a particular person.
We point out that sending data through the internet (by E-Mail) is never absolutely safe.
Personal data are only recorded when you send us these yourself.

b) In using our contact links
If you contact us by E-Mail with questions of any kind, you voluntarily grant us authorization to contact you. A valid E-Mail address is required for this. This serves to identify the query and the subsequent response. Providing additional data is optional. The information you provide is stored to enable processing of the query and for possible subsequent questions. After the query you submitted has been dealt with, personal data are automatically deleted.

5. Purpose of Data Processing by the responsible Office and Third Parties

Recording and processing of core patient data to comply with the patient’s personal treatment contract.
We only process your personal data for the purposes cited in this Data Protection Statement. Your personal data are not provided to third parties for purposes other than those cited here. We transmit your personal data to third parties only when:

  • You have expressly authorized this,
  • The processing is required to fulfill a contract with you,
  • The processing is required to comply with legal obligations,
  • The processing is required to maintain justified interests and there is no reason to assume that you have a greater protection-worthy interest in non-transmission of your data.

Data which we store:
Name, first name, date of birth, gender, address data (also electronic), possibly additional contact data, occupation, health insurance, health-relevant data, without which treatment cannot be undertaken. You will be given a special instruction leaflet/patient information sheet in the office.

Authorization on your part
You will sign an authorization for processing your personal data on your first visit as patient in our practice. All information is contained in that statement.

6. Deletion or Blocking of Data

We comply with the principle of data avoidance and data thrift. For this reason, we store your personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes cited here, or for the period required by governing various storage times. Once the purpose has been achieved or the required times have expired, the corresponding data are routinely blocked or deleted as required by law.

7. Use of Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to appropriately present our texts correctly and graphically attractive for all browsers, our website uses script libraries and text libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transmitted to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple downloading. If the browser does not support the Google Webfonts or prevents access, the contents are displayed in a standard text.
Opening script libraries or text libraries automatically elicits connection to the provider of the library. Thus it is theoretically possible – but presently unclear whether and to what purpose – the provider of the corresponding libraries may record data.
The Data Protection Guidelines of the library provider Google are found in the following link: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

8. Amendment of our Data Protection Terms

We reserve the right to amend this Data Protection Statement to comply with current legal requirements or to implement changes in our services in the Data Protection Statement, for example, when new services are introduced. The new Data Protection Statement then applies for any visit after the amendment.

9. Questions to the Data Protection Officer

If you have questions about data protection, please send us an E-Mail or contact the person responsible for data protection in our organization directly:
